Here's how I think the East and West will turn out this season in the league. The East seems to be pretty predictable, especially considering the top four seeds are usually the same every year as of late. The West is a completely different story. Other than the Lakers, the rest of the West is a huge mystery. Teams like Phoenix and Portland seem like they could possibly miss the postseason. Phoenix without Amar'e have no explosiveness in the post and the Blazers cannot stay healthy enough to form a real chemistry. I look for Houston and New Orleans possibly replacing those two. With that said, here are my predictions. I have teams that I believe will make the playoffs, with the projected records: West
1. Lakers (63-19)
2. Jazz (56-26)
3. Mavericks (55-27)
4. Thunder (55-27)
5. Spurs (53-29)
6. Nuggets (51-31)
7. Suns (48-34)
8. Rockets (45-37)
East
1. Heat (65-17)
2. Magic (61-21)
3. Celtics (55-27)
4. Hawks (52-30)
5. Bulls (47-35)
6. Bucks (47-35)
7. Bobcats (43-39
8. Knicks (41-41)
In today's season opener we saw that the Heat hasn't found their chemistry yet with their new leading players. In what game do you think they will finally shine and why do u predict them as the eastern champs?
ReplyDeleteI don't think they'll be the Eastern champs. Just think they'll have the best record. Plus losing to Boston shouldn't been made into a big deal because it's Boston. Clearly a top 4 team in the league every year. I don't think chemistry will be an issue for them this year. I'm sure that first game had a mixture of things...nerves, anxiety, plus Wade hadn't played all pre season.
